The Family Fishing Academy is designed for youth ages 6 to 12 and their parents.

Children and their parents are invited to learn about fish species and their environment, how to tie fishing knots, how to cast a lure, and much more!

After completing our interactive learning stations, each registered child will receive a new rod and reel! You are invited to try out your new gear by fishing in the Firemen’s Park Pond!

Location: Firemen’s Park Lawn (Rain or Shine)

Cost: $10 per child

Registration is through Chaska Parks and Rec.
