We are a 100% volunteer run non-profit organization that operates for the sole purpose of taking our elderly and youth populations out on enjoyable one and one-half hour pontoon pleasure rides or fishing trips.  What a great way to spend a Minnesota summer day!

In 2016, Fishing With Friends took out over 80 trips accomodating over 800 Active Older Adults and kids. Over 50 Chaska Area Fishing With Friends volunteer captains and firstmates are excited about this years pontoon and fishing opportunities on beautiful Lake Minnetonka.

We accommodated numerous area nursing homes, church groups, assisted living facilities, senior centers, card clubs and youth groups.  We also take a few Grandparent & Grandchild fishing trips and evening lake crusies each year with all trips departing from Howard’s Point Marina.  The Chaska chapter initiated a youth fishing program and participates in a week long fishing camp stationed out of the Chaska Community Center.

We look forward to new adventures and stories to tell in 2017!  Please consider giving us a call to see if we can work together with your group for a relaxing trip on Lake Minnetonka!
