Fishing Photo Contest

Over the summer we held a virtual Fishing Photo Contest. We had over 150 entries, and one winner was drawn each month. The winners each received a $50 Gift Card to Cabin Fever Sporting Goods, a CAFWF hat, and fishing tackle.

Fishing Academy to Go

Chaska Area Fishing with Friends and Chaska Parks and Recreation held the very first Fishing Academy to Go!

The Fishing Kits were popular as it sold out within a few days. CAFWF are committed to offering more programs in the future as we continue to navigate the social distancing guidelines during the pandemic.

Fishing Academy to Go – Chanhassen

Chaska Area Fishing with Friends partnered with the City of Chanhassen and the Chanhassen American Legion to offer the Fishing Academy to Go!

In total, 50 fishing poles, tackle boxes and tackle were distributed to Chanhassen residents. We are thankful to work with such great organizations!

CAFWF & Chaska Police Dept Partnership

CAFWF donated 25 fishing poles and tackle to the Chaska Police Dept for their #ChaskaCares initiative. Together, we held five offshore fishing events which included teaching and fishing to the local area youth. For some kids, this was their first time fishing!
